it was with much anxiety but less apprehension that i attended the sept. '06 raleigh flickr meet. much to my surprise i found myself paired with carlee. now, when one converses with someone via email [or comments upon photos] a certain impression is given, certain aspects are impressed upon you through lack of verbal interaction [text having no voice] i'm here, to stand witness, that a brighter, more well-rounded, concise speaking and an attentive listener cannot readily be found. carlee has an infectious and affectuous laugh, a certain stance to her persona that easily tells of her confidence, however shy she may come across [its a façade, trust me] and you know, for all this sophistication, she is infinitely quirky, quick to laugh, and faster still to set you at ease. her photos are up-front, well rounded, and she possesses a keen eye with a great scope for composition and color. all the while, she'll adamantly deny it. she'll tell you that her mother is the crafty one, and yet she hasn't figured out that the apple didn't roll far from the tree... i am a fan, an admirer of hers. you should be so lucky and count yourself in the same company.
