Carla Axtman is a fine art landscape photographer from the Pacific Northwest. Raised in the beautiful valley of John Day, Oregon, she attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon and then settled for a time on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. Carla relocated to the Portland metro area in 1995, renewing her love affair with her home state. She loves creating images that demonstrate her passion for the Pacific Northwest.

Carla believes in telling the story of a place through the camera lens. Her photography reflects what she sees and feels when being surrounded by the incredible scenery of her home state and region.

Carla's images have been published in Time Magazine and with the Portland Japanese Garden.
