I have been taking photographs since I got my first camera, a Kodak Ektralite, at age six. My interest in photography has always been to capture the world around me through the little things. I love trying to elevate the ordinary to extraordinary. While this is my goal, I cannot claim to accomplish this very often. I am solely self-taught, and thus have a lot of learning left to do. I recently bought a cheaper digital SLR, the Nikon D40 after deciding I needed to step up my game a bit. I am excited about the transition but still need so much help... Thus I welcome any comments, criticisms, suggestions, Please!
