For many people posting on Flickr it's an attempt to be the big professional photographer with larger than life, over processed photos taken with those three foot mega telephoto lenses, but my motivation is more or less keeping a photo diary of my life, which since 2012 has been back down in South Florida. We lived here once before from 2002 - 2004, but we moved back after being away for eight years. So even though it's basically a photo diary I definitely try to make the photos as cool looking as possible. The beach and ocean, ships, boats and yachts, wildlife critters of all types, flowers and foliage, clouds, weather, sunrises and sunsets, the moon and sun, trains and planes, architecture and general south Florida scenery, and some humorous pics thrown in for kicks.
