Hello,

i got into taking pictures way back in the mid-80`s when I had the chance to grab my sisters "old Minolta" and shoot some plane pictures at Vienna Airport. Quality and capture left a lot to desire, but "hey, it was a start".

After I while I changed from photo-film to slide-exposures, hence my fairly large collection of slides, which I now need to scan slide after slide and convert into digital images (what a "p.i.t.a." but again, i`d like to keep those pics aswell..

For the last 6 1/2 years I am shooting exclusively digital using Canon SLRs.

I started with the EOS 300D, moved to 20D and now 30D. On the lense side I managed to spend my money on a

EF 24-105mm 1:4 L IS USM

EF 70-200mm 1:4 L USM

EF 300mm 1:4 L IS USM

EF 100-400mm 1:4,5-5.6 L USM

I mainly like to "hunt" aircraft (yeah, also knows as "spotting"), wild-life, landscapes....
