When illness or disability strikes it comes as a shock to find out just how little support is available.

Every year 2 million people start looking after a family member or friend. Many will pay a high price for the care they provide - no money, no breaks, no life of their own and a constant battle for support. Some are pushed to the point of collapse.

Many carers feel strongly about the lack of practical and financial help they receive. But because of their caring responsiilities they are unable to take to the streets and protest.

We're giving carers the opportunity to take part in a "virtual protest" by sending a photo of yourself and what you want to see changed.
