I've often noticed that people add you as a contact but do not care to comment on any of your photos. They just keep on adding contacts (Thinking that more people are going to view their photos which inturn means more comments). I definitely wouldn't add them as a contact. That definitely isn't flickr. I strongly request people to stop doing that. Number of comments do not reflect how good your photograph is. Flickr is about sharing knowledge about the art of photography. It doesn't take a lot of effort to comment on a picture which you really like.
