Take a Bow was started by my great friends Phil and Angie and I am delighted to say that they made me an admin of the group too, so thank you guys it is a great honour!!! It features some of the best photos on flickr and we are now running regular competitions and other features so go and check it out!!

I am a 24 year old self taught photographer after buying my first digital "point and shoot" camera approx 5 years ago; in that time I have taken approx 6000 - 7000 photos, alot of which was spoilage but some were good shots and I am very pleased to say that I have now upgraded to a Nikon D80 DSLR with an 18-200mm VR lense!! If you have any tips or guidance on using this kit then please feel free to contact me as I would be more than grateful for any help with mastering it.
I am using flickr to publish what I consider to be my best photos, feel free to post your comments and advise. My favourite subjects include trees, plants, insects and other wildlife, macro photography, and anything to do with the sky!!
Photography magazines, books and websites have helped me pick up useful hints, tips and techniques along the way, and above all from expermenting with the camera in different environments and conditions.
I live near Cirencester, England in the heart of the Cotswolds which has made photography slightly easier for me being surronded by stunning environment and scenery which I try my best to capture in my photos.
I work outside providing forestry and fencing services along with my dad in our family business, until of course somebody approaches me with millions of pounds for publishing my photos!!!!! LOL!!
I am constantly amazed and inspired by the fantastic images that I see on flickr so I would just like to say a huge well done to all of you!! Keep on amazing me!!
