Hello. I am a professional writer in Edmonton, Alberta and I have had a casual interest in photography (mainly travel photography) for about seven years. I joined Flickr for advice and inspiration mostly, but also as a holding place for my photography.

I recently started on an old Pentax SLR but, upon realizing how expensive film is, I decided that it might be a better idea to get a digital SLR. On August 2nd, 2007, I acquired a Nikon D40. I have been rocking that ever since.

Other hobbies include music, reading, watching movies and hanging out with my lovely and wonderful girlfriend Laura Lynn.
