My name is Martin, I live in Kiel, which is in northern Germany, halfways between Hamburg and Denmark.

I've started a 365-day toy project in mid-july 2015, since then there is a toy pic every day, but with the 1k rule for free accounts that got introduced in 2019, I've switched accounts with the start of the 5th year, because I was fed up with having to delete an old pic for every new I wanted to share.

In the meantime I became "pro" and the 12th year started mid-July 2026.

I used a small compact camera that rides in a pouch on my belt, because every scene is a potential photo. Since August '24 I've upgraded to a bridge camera, which still rides on my belt, but is quite a brick.
