I moved to Santa Fe, NM a few years ago to indulge in it's vibrant culture of arts, historic and ancient architecture, and beautiful scenery. It's a place of fantastic skies and open vistas.
I used to live along the Front Range of Colorado in the Little Thompson Canyon NW of Lyons. It is a beautiful area and provides much inspiration for my images. We worked two years to keep a dam from destroying this historic riparian habitat and our home. I was able to use my photos in the fight.
I got started as a photographer shooting for my profession as an art historian [ I taught at NAU and CSU] and using my images for teaching. Nature and architecture are now my two favorite subjects. Living so close to the Colorado Plateau has been a wonderful photographic opportunity and experience.
I love photography and confess that I am a cameraholic. In SLR days, I used mostly 35mm Nikon equipment and more recently their digital SLRs, then moved to the Fuji mirrorless system, and now Sony A7 full frame. I do all my own printing and enjoy discovering new creative possibilities in PhotoShop. If any of you would like to purchase a print to support my habit, please let me know by email or through my web site.
