"I have studied wildlife all my life and took up photography in 2010 as a hobby but which now is more of a lifestyle.

 

My main interest is any form of wildlife doing something different which offers that special moment captured on camera . I think about fifty per cent of successful wildlife photography is good field craft, forty per cent photographic skills, and the remaining ten per cent luck.

 

When not crawling about in the woods I help out the Scottish Wildlife Trust and the local Wildlife Rescue Unit when required. Several projects will take me further afield to Sweden, Canada and Alaska in the near future...
