I wanted to be a pro photographer when I was a kid. Never did that, but now in my seventies and having a ball, even with my little Nikon J1.

People are usually so cool about posing. I often don't know the people I shoot, but as you photographers may feel, there's often a connection you form when you take someone's picture. I find it a very interesting dynamic.

I learn so much looking through all your captures here on Flickr. I realize I can never see every human being or all the beauty of this Earth in my own lifetime. Your photos are one way I get to see more and more each day.
