I'm just a small town girl who grew up in the Shenandoah Valley surrounded by beautiful scenic imagery. Naturally this inspired me to photograph what I love and know best. My photos capture the smallest details in nature that are frequently overlooked by most of us as we go about our busy days, while showcasing some of Virginia's spectacular beauty. I settled on nature photography for my creative outlet as it combines my passions for the natural world, discovery, excitement, and inner peace. Nature is an underestimated magnificent beauty that needs to be properly acknowledged and displayed. My hope is that these images will touch and inspire others to appreciate, and care for, the world around them.
