I am portuguese, and I'm returning to this old photographic hobby of mine after having had a few cheap cameras as a kid and later in life a very heavy Zenith camera, with which I never experimented as widely as I'd have liked because film was way too expensive.

But now, there are digital cameras. And now, I have three. A pont-and-shoot, a bridge camera and... well... my cell phone. Put them all together, and they reach maybe half the price of a good camera. Heh.

Anyway, I'm back in flickr after a few months here in 2006 after which I became way too busy with my day job to properly devote myself to photography. Now I'm still way too busy with it, but photography (and its subproducts) is a wonderful way to get away from everything else, and I discovered that I need to give it some time in order to keep some degree of sanity. So here I am. Hello.

Ah, one more thing: I hate with all my heart this current trend in flickr to comment with logos and all sorts of cheesy graphics. I hate it with all my heart. So, if and when one of those pesky things is added in a comment to one of my images, that comment will be deleted. With no contemplations. Regardless of who that comment may be from.

Photo replies are the only graphic comments I'll allow in my photostream. That's it.
