I am a retired Canadian named Gregory Melle.

My careers have included database programming and analysis. That means that I enjoy providing context and classification for my creative efforts. My photos are generally posted with titles, tags and descriptions. Even old photos have been given guestimate dates and geotagging. With modern cameras almost anybody can create and post a pretty picture; I want to read its context and story.

I put each photo into two albums; one is based on the year that the picture was taken and another is based on the location or trip. All albums belong to Collections which are based on decades and geographic areas.

I subscribed as Flickr Pro even though I am more of an Amateur Photographer.

Since Google Search has given up on indexing my newer photos, the ancient ones remain my most popular.

Flickr has now added an In Memoriam function and hopefully my heirs will consider that when I am gone.
