After 10+ years of windsurfing, I switched to kitesurf in 2003.

I am based in San Francisco, CA and mostly enjoy the beaches of the Bay Area.

Coming from a filmmaking background, once I became comfortable with this new sport, I quickly started to think about capturing it on photo and video.

At the same time, the first waterproof ultra-compact digital cameras arrived on the market.

Attaching a camera onto the kite and shooting from up there became an obsession. Once some technical issues got solved, the result was instantly rewarding.
