Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) South West London branch. We exist to promote the cause of real ale and to help preserve pubs in South West London.
CAMRAswl has been in existence for well over 30 years, previously having been part of the larger South London Branch. We exist to promote the cause of real ale in the SW postal districts south of the Thames plus Mitcham & Morden. The only exceptions are SW13 & SW14 (covered by the Richmond & Hounslow CAMRA branch) and the parts of SW16 and Mitcham in the London Borough of Croydon (Croydon & Sutton CAMRA branch).
The 1,600+ members of our CAMRAswl branch each receive a postal vote in December to select the annual CAMRA SW London Pub of the Year which is announced during the annual Battersea Beer Festival in February.
There are some 420 pubs and bars in our area, about half of of which are known to sell Real Ale.
