Firstly, thanks to anyone who has faved my photos. Much appreciate your interest in my hobby.

I don't consider myself a photographer with any real skill, I just take shots that I think look good. I don't go that deep into the whys and wherefores.

Until recently my main camera has been a Canon EOS1000D which was already 5 years old when I bought it from a friend in 2012. Two lenses, an 18-55mm and a 55-200mm Canon. I have now upgraded to a Canon EOS850D, and have recently augmented the lens list with a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM.

I also use my phone (currently iPhone 11, I think?), and a Panasonic Lumix TZ90, bought for traveling.

I don't use full blown Photoshop and no AI, just whatever is in Photoshop Elements Editor

I don't think I have a style, but I suspect others would say otherwise. Big views, small details, flowers, animals, birds, happy to snap whatever I can see to varying degrees of success - for every shot on Flickr, there are probably 20 additional attempts in a folder on my pc!

As you may have noticed, I enjoy taking shots of running races, and offer my services FOC for some local race organisers in exchange for race entries.
