I'm originally from Adelaide, Australia, via my teenage years in Ontario, Canada. I've been based on-and-off in the UK and Japan, and am currently based at an ancient crossroads in the small town of Shimosuwa, Nagano, Japan.
I travel a lot and take photographs of the places I go; often in an environmental or social-justice context, though I'm married to an anthropologist and also get to visit a lot of festivals. Recently, I've been attempting to track my Canadian roots by photographing the landscape of Ontario. I used to cook for a living and I photograph food a lot, too.
Prints of many of my images are available through my website.
Advertising and editorial licences can be arranged either through my site or via Alamy, where you'll find a full archive of my work.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my photography.
