Well, I'm totally new to the photography world and really my aim is to improve my skills so that I can take some beautiful pics of my family and our travels.

My husband, son, baby daughter and I live in Roxby Downs, South Australia.

We bought my first SLR camera October 2007 and it is a Canon 400D. It came with two standard lenses and we bought a 50mm f1.8 (which I LOVE). Since then we've bought a polarizing filter and a remote shutter release. We already had a tripod from a 'sensitive' P&S that was a PITA.

My husband also bought me the 100 mm Macro which is truly a beautiful lens.
