I am just getting back to photography after a break of about 10-15 years. I used to use a lot of 35mm film in those days and the advancement of digital cameras was in the ascendency. In the intervening years I had a small collection of bridge cameras as I didn't want to invest in a DSLR as they go out of fashion as quickly as computers. I knew I had to wait until a full frame camera came onto the market to get the same 'quality' as a 35mm film. I have now taken the plunge and purchased a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV (April 2018). A Canon because most of my lenses and equipment will work with the newer camera. I am looking forward to developing my skills with the new camera to create some Flickr-worthy photos.

Update: Following the current trend in using film I have dusted off a few of my older cameras. I’ve had to relearn spooling a 120/35mm film onto a spiral and developing it. These days I scan the negatives though.
