I bought my first DSLR two years ago and am smitten. I love taking pictures of birds, city life, buildings, any wildlife. I like taking people pictures but need a lot more practice. One does not have to apologize to a landscape for taking so long. I enjoy getting in my car before sunup and driving to wherever my heart desires and stopping when something looks good. It's nice to have the time to try different settings, lenses without annoying anyone. A GPS is a must because I rarely know where I am.
