Since my time for flickr is limited, I do not want to make it so I cannot keep up with the core group of contacts I already have. I understand it works the other way, and sometimes I'll 'bookmark' someone whose stream I enjoy, not being offended if they do not reciprocate. Occasionally I will review my list and delete inactive contacts.
