Photography is my passion 📷 😀

I'm a New Zealander in my 70's, living in the far north of New Zealand. I took up photography after breaking my back in 2010 and was no longer able to play golf. I had no idea what I was doing, when I first picked up a camera in December 2010, and no idea that this replacement pass-time would soon become a passion. My photography preferences include landscapes, city street photography (especially at night), flowers and birds. I especially enjoy the tiny world of macro photography. My greatest pleasure is to open a photo in the computer for the first time and gasp with joy at how lovely the details are. I absolutely love that.
