Mexican artist Daniel Camacho has been creating artwork for the past 25 years. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas, San Carlos, in Mexico City. His art represents his homeland, with all the joys and sorrows, traditions and celebrations, and subtleties of everyday life.

The garden surrounding his studio, with its towering sunflowers, fruit trees and vegetables, hummingbirds and butterflies, provides him with the inspiration to create new artwork. He lives in Oakland, California with his wife and two teenage children.
