Calonwlân (pronounced ca-lon wool-aarn) is Welsh for 'a heart for wool', or 'a love for wool' essentially . This is certainly true of me! It's also a play on the name of a legendary Welsh song 'Calon lan' which means 'pure in heart'.

My passion for all things colour and textile goes back over 20 years. I am a self-taught textile artist specialising in felting with wool. I love to share these skills, hoping to encourage others to find or re-connect with their creativity and I run felt making courses in Wales, particularly at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, near Carmarthen. I live in the beautiful Tywi Valley, Carmarthenshire, Wales.
