Where is the line between erotica and pornography? What defines the balance between explicit art and veiled smut? How does one visualize promiscuous, intimate sexuality without depicting it as detached, cold immorality? How to artfully express emotional turmoil related to gender and sexual orientation without reverting to stereotypical role depictions? How can I show the strength in vulnerability?

My Flickr is an exploration of these questions and themes from a queer transgender woman's perspective, through imagery from the virtual world of Second Life. Sometimes I fail, sometimes I succeed. Sometimes I scare myself with the subconscious symbolism buried in some of my own work.
