Okay, here we go...

I am an amateur photographer. I really didn't start getting into photography till college, when I took a B&W photography course and developed my own photos in a lab. That is when I really fell in love with the art. My first camera was a Canon point and shoot simple camera growing up, then a Canon Rebel G 35mmSLR (my first REAL camera and my favorite), and now a digital Canon Rebel SXi.

I have found photography to be sort of a release for me. An escape into my own little world of exploring and finding knew and different things. Sometimes I feel like a kid again because I get down in the dirt just to take pictures of bugs and flowers. I love those days, especially when I get a great shot. My most favorite type of photography is nature. I love the simplicity and rawness of its beauty. And nothing beats a day with just you, a camera, and the sound of nature all around you. It is my happy place.

I have found photography has its own set of challenges and I learn something new everytime I go out and take shots. That is what I love, it never gets boring for me. It is a passion I want to improve on, learn from, and share. Thanks for sharing my passion!
