My passion is writing, literature, poetry. I have recently (last ~3-4 years) discovered photography as a means of visual literature. It is, in my opinion, the perfect companion to language, to poetry, to that which is spoken but never really conveyed clearly. Of course, it's also separate from words and language, because it can survive, grow and mature in and of itself. It's a rich medium, a window in one's world, however distant and unknown he/she may appear.

To that extent, photography provides me with a rich world that I can only imagine while reading books. Imagining is good, but creating is better!

I mostly shoot with a Nikon D50, and an 18-55 lens. Photoshop is present in my photos if only because traditional methods of manipulating photos are unavailable when it comes to digital imagery. Hence, it's a necessary compromise.
