Batóry is an illustrator born and based in Monterrey, México.

Creator of childish - and somewhat punk - characters trapped in strange and sinister situations, courtesy of her fascination with cartoons, comics, oriental, tattoos, art nouveau and toys.

Her work ranges from the infantile and tender to the sensual and creepy, often spiced with a depressed and experimental air. Using her frustrations, fears, doubts, and -sometimes- her desire to shock, she creates images that sometimes lead us to rethink preconceived ideas we have, specifically in terms of the erotic: Is it really so bad? Why would someone who handles these issues should be seen as the worst?
