Just an amateur who loves taking pictures, finding the time now that the kids are grown to go out and enjoy the sites around us. I particularly enjoy nature and its quietude, which I'm discovering more of while hiking or enjoying a daytrip or vacation. I am greatly enjoying the inspiration on Flickr and hope to someday work all the options on my dSLR to be as good as many of those here on FlickR. So many favorites.
