Viewing the world through the viewfinder of a camera continuously transforms my vision and the way I perceive and remember things.

My love of photography has made me much more aware and appreciative of the beauty in ordinary things and in everyday life...and in the extraordinary things.

It affects the way I think and and how I appreciate life. Through photography, I've learned to cherish the existence and life of the smallest insects, the tallest trees, the tiniest creeks, and the most expansive oceans--and everything in between.

I wish to share these sentiments and to transform the way others perceive of their surroundings as well. Rewarding moments are when you witness someone appreciate the smallness or the vastness or the uniqueness of something they've never dreamt of considering before because of something you've shared with them.

There is so much beauty missed everyday simply because it's being looked at it without the right lens.

In these ways, photography is an integral part of who I am.

My photostream, like my life, is pretty eclectic. A long-running theme or style that you can categorize or box up with a nice bow just isn't where I'm at right now.

Branching out and trying new things with photography is what makes me happy. I really can't stand feeling like I'm in a rut.

I want to work to improve as a photographer, so all constructive criticism is more than welcome.

It's all a journey! ♥

Please, if you are going to add me as your contact, at least leave a comment, as this is becoming a problem. If you don't, I probably will not reciprocate and may block you depending on whether or not I find you creepy.

Also, please do not put your own photos in comments under my photos simply for self-promotion. I will visit your photostream because you visited mine, not because you spam my stream with images.

Exception: If you put them there because they have something to do with my photo and/or your comment, that's wonderful. I don't mind that at all! :)

Haha, so now that I've laid down some ground rules, we can all get along! :P

Happy Flickring!!
