I love taking in beauty. Whether that means relishing a sunset, the wisdom of a friend, a Sigur Ros album, or a moment with God, I believe that we were created to enjoy all the loveliness that permeates our surroundings. While there's a true poignancy in ugliness, it's beauty that inspires, gives hope, and points towards a Creator. Among the beautiful things that I love are my friends and family, learning both useful and useless things, the outdoors, admiring others' creativity and insight, and being wholly silly.
