As much as I love it, Firefox may not be the best browser for viewing my photos. The darker ones may look nicer in a different browser. Or not. Just FYI.

I'm a complete beginner, inspired to try photography by the wonderful images that so many others have posted here, and by a time in my life in which I'm reconsidering just about everything. Taking pictures forces me to open my eyes and try to connect with the rest of the world. It's cheaper than therapy, and more enjoyable to share.

I shot with a Canon point-and-shoot for a little over two years, and finally took the plunge and got my first DSLR (Nikon, this time) at the beginning of 2010. We'll just have to see how this goes...
