California Connected is a television news magazine produced through a unique collaboration of four PBS stations: KCET-Los Angeles, KPBS-San Diego, KQED-San Francisco and KVIE-Sacramento.

Since 2002, California Connected has been providing coverage of the people and ideas that drive California. Our mission is to increase people's participation in their own governance and to encourage people in this diverse state to think of themselves as members of the same community.

Broadcast journalist Lisa McRee is host and correspondent for California Connected. She is the former host of "Good Morning America" and longtime news anchor at KABC in Los Angeles.
