I have a professional career in Information Technology, as well as a professional hobby in Storm Chasing/Spotting. If I am not chasing, then I am probably working. If I am not working, then I am most likely studying. I enjoy studying new technologies and Micro and Mesoscale Meteorology during freetime.

I am a certified Advanced SKYWARN and SN spotter, but the ability to report severe criteria is largely a by-product of why I really venture under angry skies. I do not share my independent forecasts with the public because I believe such practices should be done by "official" or "creditable" sources.

I chase due to a fascination in severe weather and tornadogenisis I have had since experiencing a few tornadic events in MN when I was 5 years old. I first started chasing in North Carolina in high school 10 yeard ago with nothing but an Atlas, Radio station and NOAA Radio. Since then, I have gained much more knowledge and experience to practice the activity safe and successfully. Mainly, I chase in NC and Dixie Alley, but I also plan a trip to the plains once every year in May or earlier (if the setup looks feasible).

I like Computers, Routers, NASCAR, Storms, Beer, and the Green Bay Packers.
