Cabe Booth, a Dallas-based artist born on July 30, 1969, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing from the University of North Texas, earned in 1995. With a career spanning decades, Booth has made a significant mark on the local art scene.

Since 1997, Booth has been renowned as the go-to portrait painter for Deep Ellum and Dallas music venues, including the esteemed Curtain Club. His portraits, delivered on the night of the event and often autographed by the performers, serve as tangible memories of the electric atmosphere of live music.

Despite a brief hiatus from constant painting, during which he worked extensively in scenic design for approximately three years, Booth's dedication to his craft has never wavered. With an impressive body of work comprising over 1750 paintings, he has spent countless hours in the studio, honing his skills and bringing his artistic vision to life.

In recent years, Booth has refocused his attention on his passion for blending nature with industrial elements in his artwork. His dragonfly and bird works on broken wood, characterized by intricate layers and disconnected sections, offer a unique perspective on the intersection of these themes.

With his prolific career and unwavering commitment to his craft, Cabe Booth continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic portraits and innovative mixed-media pieces. As he looks to the future, his dedication to storytelling through art remains as strong as ever.
