I grabbed a camera at age 22 to help preserve memories. My own memory was fading fast, and there was no known reason why. At age 28, I went blind temporarily in 1 eye and stopped being able to walk 3 weeks before my wedding. I soon got diagnosed with MS. This also explained my memory loss 6 years earlier.

Today I am able to hike again with minimal difficulty, and am back to doing photography. As long as I successfully manage this disease, I will continue to do what I love.
