Retired mother of two grown daughters and three grandchildren living in Rural America in the PNW. After a long hiatus, once again enjoying my "vintage" camera gear (Canon). Love all aspects of shooting, especially macro. Once had a small studio and did portrait photography as a side hustle.
Other interests include reading, many genres of music, current news, sports (especially the NFL and the Oregon Ducks), and technology (especially Apple products).
My gear is old but was purchased new 15+ years ago. I have two APSC Canon bodies, eight lens', two flashes, various gear needed such as a light meter, flash modifiers, off-camera flash triggers, and everything to put together a small studio, which I had around the same time I purchased all this gear. I currently have set up a small studio in my kitchen with monolight and softibox to practice macro photography. Some of my lens' are good Canon L lens' that although they weigh as much as a semi truck and trailer, are still excellent glass. I would love to upgrade but even though I could buy a good used full-frame body, I could never replace all the lens' I have for the bodies I have now. So I've decided to re-learn everything I've forgotten during years of not touching my cameras and found that although the gear is "vintage" it still takes good photos. ( Before I switched to Canon, I began with a "fancy" [for its time] Minolta PAS and a very early Olympus DSLR. You will see some of those photos here.)
The photos here are both old and new. Thank you for perusing them and I hope you find something you enjoy. C.
