The children have departed, my wife and me have taken to walking the dales and coast to fend off the every workaday stresses of life.

Along the pathes and byways, wildlife passed us by, so I decided to photograph the things in the distance and then we would be able to identify the things, at our leisure.

I have since carried my camera for many long walks and sometimes even take a photo or two.

If you take time to look, I will be happy, if not, I wish you well anyway.

We will keep walking and waiting for the next thing to cross our path, but as time goes by, we seem to do more waiting and less walking - maybe we are slowing down - I do hope so!
