I try to photograph with my mind, heart, and soul in combination. As I live in Berlin, and as "Urban Exploration / Lost-Place" my central Theme, I search for such places as abandoned Factories, Barracks, Airports, through to Old Hunting Lodges and Castles - all in a very wide radius from home. As well as the old, i love the new around me, whether in the City or out of it, everything fascinates me , but the charm of a crumbling ruin brings my creativity to the fore, and my eye in sharp focus. I especially love the way Nature slowly takes places back under her control... it is all so Magical.

And it is not how good or expensive a camera one has, a good picture has more to do with the honesty and respect that you want to capture in that moment.... and no Weather is bad, evey change brings with it a mood or colour, briilance, or dimming.That is also an honesty to the picture that i try to capture -Snow, Rain,clouds of doom, Swealtering Heat, they all make a picture special. . . . .Today you will receive professional pictures from me of a special kind and special perspectives that know how to convince with expression and content away from the conventional crowd ~ For me, photography is not a craft, but a visualization of perspectives and as an interaction a process between photographer and model with the Camera as a connecting element. Bin Fotograf mit Leib, Herz und Seele und Lebe in Berlin. Ausser mein Tagesgeschäft wie Kitafotografie, Portraits, Erotik und Events sowie Standesamt Shootings, bin ich seit einige Jahren auch als "Urban Exploration / Lost-Place Fotograf unterwegs. Das sind teilweise alte Fabriken, U-Bahnen, Herrenhäuser, Schlösser, Kasernen, Flughäfen etc. Die Kombination von Architektur und der stetige Verfall aus Menschenhand. Nichts ist eben auch für die Ewigkeit gebaut. Erst Verfall und Ruinen haben einen besonderen Charme, es zieht mich magisch an. Ich gebe nicht immer meine genauen Orte bekannt. Einige sind dazu einfach zu gefährlich ! Es ist nicht getan eine gute Kamera zu besitzen und zu sagen; so und heute gehe ich mal erkunden ! Es gehört viel Respekt und Ehrfurcht vor solchen Orte. Kein Wetter ist schlecht, ob Regen oder kalte Jahreszeiten und Schnee oder Sommern mit Bullenhitze. Ich halte diese Orte auf meinen Bilder fest. Geeignetes Beleuchtungsmaterial (hell, verschiedenfarbig) ist von Vorteil. Wahrscheinlich könnte man dort auch interessante Light Paintings machen. Wie fast reichte mir der erste Besuch eigentlich nur für einen groben Überblick. Vielleicht werde ich doch noch einmal dorthin zurückkehren und gezielter auf Fotojagd gehen. ) Wahre Fotografie zeichnet sich aus in dem man mit dem Herzen dabei ist, mit Gefühl und den Blick für das wesentliche. Urban Exploration bzw. Urbex oder Stadterkundung ist die private Erforschung von Einrichtungen des städtischen Raums und sogenannter Lost Places. Oftmals handelt es sich dabei um das Erkunden alter Industrieruinen, aber auch Kanalisationen, Katakomben, Dächern oder unzugänglicher Räumlichkeiten ungenutzter Einrichtungen. Der Begriff wird jedoch durchaus auch für die Erkundung zugänglicher Orte wie Parks verwendet. Anders als in vielen Fällen von Hausfriedensbruch geht es den Urban Explorern nicht darum, Dinge zu zerstören, zu stehlen oder anderweitig dem Grundstück oder Gebäude und der vielleicht noch vorhandenen Einrichtung Schaden zuzufügen, sondern üblicherweise nur um die fotografische und geschichtliche Dokumentation. Ich bin ganz sicher nicht ein Weltklasse Fotograf aber eines ganz klar; meine Fotos bleiben das was ich sah und so werde ich diese keineswegs so bearbeiten mit Photoshop etc, das man glaubt man sei in einem Paradis oder in einem Fotomärchen !
