I started getting involved in photography because I realized that I needed a hobby in my life. I have always been interested in taking and hording the family pictures. I suspect it has something to do with my poor memory for events and people.

So now I'm on a journey to improve my photography skills. I'm not really sure what kind of photographer I am, but my guess to date is that I'm a "Street Photographer." Official definitions aside, what this means to me is that I wander around the city and take pictures of whatever captures my interest.

I'm trying out the 365 blog thing that seems to be so popular on Flickr. It's a good way to force me to practice, and I do feel like I am learning from it.
