I love being on Flickr.

With every day I spend here, I learn more about the art of photography, and my knowledge about taking pictures grows. And every time I use this community, I take my hat off to the people who build it.

Still, I'm trying to figure out how my photos look for someone who has not actually been there. I think it helps a lot with getting better.

Flickr is an amazing place with incredibly talented photographers. So, thanks to all the people who inspire me!

I didn't shoot people before summer 2010. Now it's become one of my favorite subjects to shoot. There's so much to explore in a face!

I am a corporate web designer and do freelance design and photography in addition.

I have lived in Iceland for two and a half years, worked as a farm hand and horse trainer and acquired a horse trainer's degree from Hólar Agricultural College. You can see in some of my photos that I am deeply connected with horses.

You can post your comments in English, German, Icelandic and French, and I'll also manage Spanish and Italian :)

Note: Although I feel honored by your group invitations, please don't invite my photos to "post 1, fave 3" or similar groups. Commenting, faving, and awarding should be fun and not a duty!

I always try to give meaningful comments on the pictures that move me, and I am happy if people do the same on my photos. If you want to read a good article about this, I recommend this one.
