There are few photographers that inspire me with every image they post, and Tess is one of them. I'm sure each person she photographs feels beautiful after working with her, because the images speak clearly that THEY ARE through Tess' lens.
Tess's work in one word? AMAZING! She really is a wonderful photographer and a fantastic flickr friend. She has an incredible artistic eye that makes the ordinary we usually pass over absolutely extrordinary.

I'm been coming to Tess' stream for... well, for a while, and she never ceases to amaze me. She is a complete sweetheart with an amazing eye for light, color, composition, and what makes a moment art.

"Storyteller" is the best word to describe Tess and her photographic and artistic abilities. I've watched her take ordinary, everyday things that the rest of us might overlook and present them in a way that most would never dream of. She does brilliant work and isn't selfish with her talent. I also noticed the connection she forms with her subjects. In her portraits, her people always have a good reaction to her and she gives better direction than anyone I know. I'm not sure it's something that can be taught. I think it just comes naturally. As great as her portfolio is already, I don't think we've seen the best she has to offer yet, and that's scary because she's already head and shoulders above the rest.

What can I say about Tess that probably hasn't been said already? Probably not much. I believe I stubbled across a photograph of hers in Explore of a beautiful yellow leaf on a perfectly textured river rock. From that moment I was hooked. From breath-taking landscapes, jaw dropping macros and incredible portraits (both of herself and others), Tess has accomplished them all flawlessly. I have no idea how she finds the time to do all that knitting as well. On top of all that, she is an involved and unselfish member of Flickr. She is always so generous and kind with her frequent comments and tips on how others can improve on their work. What inspires me the most about her style, is that she doesn't stick to what she has already perfected. Instead, Tess continually pushes herself to explore different genres. So make her a contact and enjoy her ever-changing and remarkable talent unfold before your eyes.
