“ Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst." - Henri Cartier-Bresson

Well...I am going to officially say I am over 10,000 though I don't have 10,000 keepers, but I think in the spirit of the quote, obviously, if these are my worst, then they won't be keepers.

My short time photog mentor often asked of our club members, "What do you like to shoot" and I always answered, "everything". His intent was to get us focused. I was still fairly new to photography and still getting a feel.

Lately though, as I am starting to explore others' works, especially some of the legendary photographers, I am starting to settle on a few genres. So I am starting to gravitate toward portraits, studio and environmental. Also, I like still-life photography is sort of the portrait of the inanimate world.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my work and feel free to leave comments both good as well as negative criticisms as it will help me grow.
