Widdis Photography is a husband and wife team with years of experience in editorial, advertising, and fine art photography. Brian is an award-winning photojournalist and wedding photographer. He has been photographing commercial and editorial projects since 1996 and has been photographing weddings since 1999.

His work has appeared in many national and international publications including: Rolling Stone, NPR, The Guardian, Hour Detroit, Metro Detroit Bride, Brides Michigan, Detroit Home, Time, Time Asia, Forbes, This Old House, The Chicago Tribune, The Detroit Free Press, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Wall Street Journal.

Kathy is a four-time National Emmy Award winning multimedia storyteller and photojournalist. After ten years as a newspaper photographer, she made the transition to picture editing when she joined the Detroit Free Press in 2003. She is currently the Deputy Director of Photo and Video at the Free Press where she oversees video and multimedia.
