Hello,

I've recently started up with photography again and enjoy finding that special shot or moment and trying to capture it with my camera.

When I was a kid, I started taking snapshots with a Kodak Instamatic X-15 before moving up to a Pentax Me Super. That camera was destroyed when I slipped off a rock and dunked it into the ocean and smashed it onto another rock.

A few years ago I bought another Kodak, this time a digital aim and click. It actually took pretty good pics but the tripod mount was broken and it only had a 3x zoom so I wasn't very inspired to do much with it. More recently I bought a Lumix DMC-FZ8 by Panasonic (with a Leica 12x lens - 36-432mm). Don't laugh, I know it's a budget camera but just look at some of the results. I'm having a blast and have really become re-inspired to take photographs again.
