Paul A. Bateson

Paul Bateson is a well established British-born bus historian now resident in Canada. He worked for a total of 47 years in the bus industry in various positions with Wallace Arnold Tours, Southend Corporation Transport, Voyageur Colonial, Grey-Green Coaches, Simcoe Coach Lines, Brampton Transit and Double Deck Tours Limited, Niagara Falls.
This does not mean that Paul is slowing down. He is kept very active as Editor of a full colour, quality magazine called British Buses Abroad. This magazine is published in March, June, September and December by Buses Worldwide. In October 2012, Paul authored his first book called DOUBLE DECK TOURS LTD, Niagara Falls - A Fleet History. This book records the history of Double Deck Tours including full details and history of every bus owned. There are over 100 photographs, most of them in colour from his personal collection. The book is highly recommended! It is available from Paul (address above) and costs C$20.00 or $US17.00 including postage and packing.
BRITISH BUSES ABROAD ILLUSTRATED, published by Buses Worldwide and edited by Paul Bateson was published in April 2020. This photo book contains 226 colour photographs and covers 25 countries in its 116 pages. The book sells for a very reasonable price of GBP 10.00 (12.50 by post to UK addresses; GBP 15.50 to European addresses and GBP 16.50 to ROW and North America addresses).
