QUALITY
The delivery of professional service to all customers is the mainstay of the company and this is borne out in the way the staff works as well as the standard and comfort of the coaches and all equipment used to provide this service.
Management and staff are fully committed to a programme of training and quality accreditation. At present Maynes are also proud to be the only Scottish member of the Guild of British Coach Operators, and have won several awards as coach operator of the year to underline their commitment to excellence.

OUR DRIVERS
All our drivers are highly trained professionals and have experience in all types of private hire, conference and tour work. Many of our drivers have been with our company for up to 20 years and we are proud of the many requests and compliments we receive for them. Our driving team is supported 24/7 by our operations team to ensure that your safety and enjoyment is first and foremost.
Every one of our drivers goes through a tough selection procedure to ensure that we employ those with experience and professionalism, we choose drivers with the right personality that ensures that our customers receive the kind of care and attention to detail they deserve.
All our driving team goes through a stringent in house training plan, undergoing approximately 17 hours training per year from basic safety procedures to defensive and interactive driving tests. All our drivers are provided with a full company uniform, and we check our driver’s history by undertaking a full disclosure check as well as having a drivers licence checked by the DVLA yearly ensuring they have the full licence entitlement for the type of vehicle they are likely to drive.
YOUR SAFETY
The maintenance of our coach fleet is the Company’s highest priority. We operate a large and well equipped workshop within our Buckie Depot. Our four weekly safety inspections, routine maintenance and repair work is undertaken by our highly skilled engineering team ensuring that your safety is paramount. Our company having a very modern fleet adds to our commitment to your safety with all our vehicles having the most up to date onboard safety systems. Although our company invest millions in our coach fleet, we are the first to recognise that the safety of our passengers is the most important part of our business, with that in mind from the moment your driver arrives at the start of your journey you will receive a full welcome and our driver will spend time explaining the vehicles safety and comfort features, this ensures that nothing is left to chance and your journey starts right first time – every time
